Description

The crew of a derelict ship awakens from stasis with no memories of who they are or how they got onboard. Their search for answers only leads to more questions as they discover a cache of weapons, an android that houses the ship’s computer information, and a hidden corpse. And after a discovery about the crew’s own sordid pasts makes them increasingly paranoid, the future is even more uncertain.

"One" is possible the most obnoxious character in the history of entertainment.

Read the other reviews and thought I would give it a try so I bought the first two episodes. Should have just taken out a Bic lighter and burned a 5 spot instead. Total waste of time. I watched 1st episode all the way through and 5 minutes of the 2nd before I deleted them both. It tries to hard to be meaningful but same old tired cliches, bad acting, interesting start of a plot but with a script that appears to be written by Ronald McDonald (think trying to sell burgers to kids) it just is a poor excuse for a new Sci-Fi show. Better to watch reruns of Star Trek. At least it did not take itself so seriously.

I wrote a bad review about this show last year and after watching season 1, I stand corrected. It is one of the best Sci Fi shows on tv right now. Great story and good special effects. The acting is good also. I recommend giving the show a chance.

Please Syfy make a season 2! I am firing to find out what happens to the crew of the Raza and if 5 is okay. Please, I need to know why 6 betrayed the crew.

I would be into this kinda show only because I'm not the nerdy spaceship type I usually don't go for space station type things since I stopped watch the show "space cases" in the 1990. But the show is engaging and funny and interesting and mystery. I was supposed how quick I finished the season
  • Better than it seems at first!

I liked Firefly and SG Universe, was sad to see them killed off. This series is full of models, campy effects, and yes it has cliche’s. I continued to watch the first episode, then the next, and the next. Initially because I like almost anything in space, and Ms. O’Neil is nice to look at. However, the characters do grow, they do evolve over the first season. Ultimately it is characters that makes a story, and these are interesting enough. While there are cliche's, there are not helpless princesses, maybe One! I loved seeing familiar faces from other shows pop up. Dr. Weir, Dr. McKay. Look forward to Season 2. Some of the other comments are brutal and I think unfair. There are a limited number of story types, so every story anymore has been done somewhere in some way. This one is evolving nicely with enough surprises to be interesting, but so far not enough over the top ‘why would that happen’ to make it too unbelievable. I think the longer it runs, the better it will be since the characters are literally starting over as individuals. I don’t think the comments about the acting are being fair either, the whole cast is good.
